By Jeff Tyndall (TheLantern.com) — Former Ohio State guard Jon Diebler is headed to the NBA.

Diebler was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 51st overall pick in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft. Diebler will join former Buckeye Greg Oden in Portland.

Diebler enters the NBA having finished his career as a Buckeye this spring.

Diebler hit 374 career 3-point baskets at OSU, setting a program record and earning him the nickname “Threebler.” Diebler started 115 games during his time at OSU, including every game since the start of his sophomore year. The 6-foot-6 guard from Upper Sandusky, Ohio, tallied 1,536 points in his four years in scarlet and gray……
